Welcome to Dermacne. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and teledermatology services. By booking a consultation, subscribing to our service, or using any part of the Dermacne platform, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us
Dermacne is a private online dermatology service based in the United Kingdom, providing remote consultations, diagnosis, and prescription services under the supervision of GMC-registered medical practitioners.
We specialise in the management and treatment of acne, rosacea, rhinophyma, and sebaceous hyperplasia, including the prescription of isotretinoin (Roaccutane) where clinically appropriate.

2. Eligibility
– You must be at least 18 years old to use our services.
– Our services are available only to patients residing in the United Kingdom.
– By booking a consultation, you confirm that all personal and medical information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

3. Services Provided
Dermacne provides:
– Initial online consultation (30 minutes) (£150).
– Ongoing subscription (£250 per month) covering:
– Prescription of medication (including isotretinoin, if clinically indicated)
– Routine blood testing
– Pregnancy testing and monitoring (for female patients of childbearing potential)
– Regular follow-up and monitoring
– Any additional consultations required during treatment

All medical decisions, including suitability for treatment and dosage, are made solely at the discretion of the prescribing clinician following assessment.

4. Prescriptions
– Medications are prescribed only after a full clinical assessment.
– Roaccutane (isotretinoin) is a regulated prescription medication and will only be prescribed when it is clinically appropriate and safe to do so.
– Patients must complete all required medical forms, blood tests, and pregnancy tests before and during treatment.
– Failure to comply with monitoring requirements may result in suspension or termination of treatment.

5. Patient Responsibilities
By engaging with Dermacne, you agree to:
– Provide truthful and accurate information about your medical history and current health status.
– Attend or submit all scheduled follow-up reviews, tests, and requested information.
– Notify the clinic immediately if you experience any side effects or health concerns during treatment.
– Avoid sharing prescribed medication or using it outside of medical supervision.
– Comply with all treatment protocols and safety requirements provided by your clinician.

6. Payments and Subscriptions
– The initial consultation fee is £150, payable at the time of booking.
– The monthly subscription fee of £250 covers medication supply, testing, monitoring, and ongoing support.
– Payments are collected in advance via the secure payment method provided.
– Failure to make timely payments may result in suspension of treatment or cancellation of services.
– Fees are non-refundable once a consultation or month of service has commenced.

7. Cancellations and Refunds
– Consultations may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice.
– Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment may incur a £80 charge.
– Subscription cancellations must be submitted in writing with 7 days’ notice before the next billing cycle.
– Refunds are not available for completed consultations, medical reviews, or medication already dispensed.

8. Telemedicine Disclaimer
Dermacne operates as a remote-only service. By using our services, you acknowledge that:
– Consultations are conducted via secure digital communication.
– In-person examination may be required in some cases; if so, you will be referred appropriately.
– You accept the limitations of online assessments and agree that treatment decisions are made based on the information you provide.

9. Confidentiality and Data Protection
Dermacne is fully compliant with UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
– Your medical and personal information is stored securely and accessed only by authorised clinical staff.
– Information may be shared with laboratories, pharmacies, or healthcare providers solely for the purpose of your care.
– You may request access to or deletion of your data at any time in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Medical Disclaimer
– The content on our website is for informational purposes only and should not replace professional medical advice.
– Results from treatment vary between individuals; no specific outcome or level of improvement can be guaranteed.
– Dermacne accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from misuse of prescribed medication or failure to follow medical advice.

11. Termination of Services
Dermacne reserves the right to suspend or terminate services where:
– The patient fails to comply with medical instructions or monitoring.
– Payment obligations are not met.
– Continued treatment is deemed unsafe or clinically inappropriate.

12. Complaints
We are committed to providing the highest standard of care.

13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
